Paula (Paola Oliveira), a young woman who is engaged to be married in a few days, meets Roberto (Reynaldo Gianecchini), a man emerging from a failed marriage/relationship, at a nightclub in Barra da Tijuca. Seeking a passionate one-night stand before taking her wedding vows, Paula goes to a motel room with Roberto. Over the course of the night and into the morning, their physical encounters transition into intense personal conversations about love, fidelity, fear, and marriage. As an unexpected emotional bond develops, both are forced to confront their choices and marital expectations.
