Undercover CNI intelligence agent Javier Morey (Álex González) is deployed to the volatile, predominantly Muslim border district of El Príncipe in Ceuta as the new Chief Inspector. His covert mission is to investigate corruption within the local police force, led by veteran inspector Fran Peyón (José Coronado), and dismantle a dangerous local jihadist terrorist cell. To aid his investigation, Morey connects with Fátima Ben Barek (Hiba Abouk), an idealistic local Muslim teacher searching for her missing younger brother Abdu. Despite Fátima being betrothed to her wealthy businessman fiancé Khaled Ashour (Stany Coppet), she and Morey enter into a passionate, high-stakes secret affair. As Morey uncovers that Khaled is secretly the leader of the Akrab terrorist network, Fátima is forced into marriage with Khaled, leading to a tragic web of double lives, betrayal, and violence.
