Román (Héctor Alterio), a successful middle-aged architect, is married to a beautiful woman named Elena (Alexandra Bastedo). Consumed by intense jealousy and voyeuristic obsessions, Román pressures and coerces his reluctant wife into engaging in sexual affairs and ménage à trois encounters with other men so he can watch and satisfy his psychological urges. Though initially resistant to her husband's demands, Elena becomes drawn to Rafa (Pep Munné), a younger man living nearby, as her marriage to Román rapidly deteriorates under the strain of his psychological instability.
