Tapio Mikkonen (Carl-Kristian Rundman) is a stressed family man struggling to maintain a veneer of upper-middle-class success in Finland. Burdened by crushing debt and married to a financially reckless wife, Jaana (Anu Sinisalo), Tapio finds himself unable to keep his household afloat through legal means alone. To avoid total financial ruin, he begins accepting dangerous, underground jobs from a career criminal named Eki. As Tapio descends deeper into real estate scams, white-collar crime, and criminal liaisons, the moral foundation of his family cracks under the pressure of secrecy, infidelity, and deception.
