Set in the coastal border town of Ventimiglia, Italy, the film revolves around 14-year-old Brando, his free-spirited 22-year-old sister Camilla (who smuggles medicine across the border), and Don Elvis, an eccentric American tennis coach living in exile. Their relaxed, chaotic routine changes when they meet Gideon, a young undocumented Sudanese migrant trying to cross the heavily guarded border into France to reunite with his brother. Together, the unlikely trio devises a series of creative, comical, and risky schemes to help Gideon achieve his dream of reaching Paris.
