Dora (Victoria Schulz), a 18-year-old young woman with a mental disability, emerges into a newly heightened sensory world after her overprotective mother Kristin (Jenny Schily) decides to take her off tranquilizing medication. As Dora gains autonomy and explores her newfound sensuality, she meets Peter (Lars Eidinger), a slick, older salesman who initiates a sexual relationship with her. As Dora becomes pregnant and embraces her independence, her parents spiral into moral panic, exposing their own suppressed anxieties, hypocrisies, and sexual neuroses while attempting to regain control over her life.
