On a remote, windswept island in the Aegean Sea, the arrival of Stefan (André Hennicke), a young German photographer, disrupts the insular community's rigid norms. He becomes fascinated by Eleni (Christina Papamichou), a quiet local young woman carrying a heavy, silent burden. As Stefan gets drawn into her life, his presence accidentally uncovers a dark, systemic family tragedy that the patriarchy of the isolated village has strictly suppressed for years, forcing long-held atrocities out into the open with devastating consequences.
