Stevie (Céci Chuh), a 14-year-old girl, lives a chaotic, nomadic existence driven by her bohemian, irresponsible parents, Axel (Birol Ünel) and Lily (Pascale Schiller). While her parents spend their days getting high, evading legal consequences, and indulging in a lifestyle of free love and petty crime, Stevie craves stability and normality. When the family moves to a small German town, Stevie lies to her peers, claiming her father is a diplomat in an attempt to fit in. However, as her parents' shady acquaintances move in and their illegal activities resume, the household devolves into emotional chaos, forcing Stevie to navigate the adult world on her own and decide whether to break free.
