Pedro (Daniel Porpino), a convict serving a prison sentence, is granted temporary leave to visit his family in Patos, Paraíba. Returning to his childhood home forces him to confront long-standing family tensions, past traumas, and buried secrets. During his stay, he meets his young cousin, Pamela.
