Newlyweds Daniel (Armando Araiza) and Abril (Tania Robledo) relocate to the quiet, tight-knit small town where Abril grew up. Shortly after their arrival, Daniel discovers an unexpected and difficult side to his young bride. Things escalate rapidly when Casimiro (Gerardo Albarrán), Abril's aggressive ex-boyfriend, reappears and tries to reignite their relationship. As Casimiro and his crew harass the couple, an extramarital affair between Abril and Casimiro surfaces, forcing Daniel into a series of violent confrontations to regain respect and secure their escape from the hostile town.
