John (Franck Desmaroux), a down-on-his-luck gambler stranded without money in Africa, takes a job as a bodyguard for Eva (Caroline Berg), a successful and glamorous screenwriter. John quickly becomes fascinated and seduced by Eva, neglecting his suspicious girlfriend, Louise (Iliana Lolic). As John falls under Eva's spell, Eva reveals her true, dangerous intentions and manipulates him into helping her carry out a sinister plot involving her wealthy associate, Simon Brook (Crispin De Nuys).
