Helen (Jennifer Welles) is a frustrated suburban housewife who feels emotionally and sexually neglected by her career-focused husband, Tom (Eric Edwards). To break the monotony of her daily life, she begins confiding in her neighbor Evelyn (Rebecca Brooke) and starts recounting her sexual fantasies and past encounters to her therapist, Dr. Miller (Harry Reems). Driven by boredom and a desire for fulfillment, Helen engages in various extramarital liaisons—including an affair with a local man, David (Marc Stevens)—which ultimately reshapes her relationship with her husband.
