Teenager Kristoffer (Victor Johansen) brings a girl from his school, Stine (Tiril-Marie Hilleren Olsen), home for the first time. What begins as a tender, awkward dynamic between two young people is interrupted by Kristoffer's mother, Helene (Trude-Sofie Olavsrud Anthonsen), who insists Stine stay for dinner. During dinner, an uncomfortable atmosphere develops as Helene displays overt jealousy toward Stine. After Stine leaves, the film exposes the toxic emotional boundaries and codependency governing Kristoffer and Helene's living dynamic.
