Paloma (María Renée Prudencio), a single mother in her early thirties, shares an intensely close, almost codependent bond with her 15-year-old son, Héctor (Lucio Giménez Cacho). During an off-season vacation at a quiet resort hotel on the Mexican coast, their relaxed routine is interrupted when Héctor meets Jazmín (Danae Reynaud), a teenager staying at the same hotel. As Héctor experiences his first romantic awakening and spends more time with Jazmín, Paloma struggles emotionally with the sudden loss of exclusive influence over her son, witnessing his awkward transition into adolescence and independence.
