Cielo Oscuro is a 2012 Peruvian drama directed by Joel Calero in which Toño, a middle-aged textile businessman from Lima's Gamarra market, falls unexpectedly and intensely in love with Natalia, a beautiful young aspiring actress who hires him to make costumes for her graduation play. What begins as a passionate age-gap romance quickly turns dark when Toño discovers Natalia's former lovers — and his consuming jealousy spirals into violence and obsession, turning a story of desire into one of femicide and male possessiveness that destroys everything between them.
