Set in Minneapolis, the narrative follows a group of recent high-school graduates struggling with the transition to adult life and emerging sexuality. Greg Chute (Sam Trammell) moves out on his own and initiates a passionate, secret affair with Evelyn (Cameron Foord), a woman twice his age who is his mother's close friend and the mother of his friend Denise.
