Directed by Sri Lankan filmmaker Vimukthi Jayasundara, this surreal Indian-French drama explores alienation and capitalist decay in Kolkata. The story follows Rahul, a successful Bengali architect who returns home after years of working in Dubai to oversee a massive, modern construction project. He reunites with his girlfriend, Paoli, who has spent years waiting for him in isolation. As Rahul grows increasingly numb and detached from his changing city, he becomes obsessed with finding his estranged, unstable brother, who has abandoned civilized society to live like a primal animal in the deep forest outskirts.
