In 1974, in the suburban quiet of Sainte-Foy, Quebec, two couples facing marital staleness and suburban boredom—Gaétan and Huguette Delisle alongside Serge and Micheline Paquette—send their children away to summer camp. Left alone, personal rivalries, resentment, and unexpected circumstances spiral out of control, prompting the four suburbanites to form an unlikely organized crime syndicate ("The Sainte-Foy Crazies"). As they rise through Quebec's criminal underworld, their violent illegal endeavors inadvertently reignite their failing marriages.
