On the surface, Batista (Marco Ricca) and Maria (Adriana Esteves) run a quiet, traditional middle-class household with their three children: Pedro (Pedro Nercessian), Emilia (Bianca Bin), and Ritinha (Cacá Ottoni). Beneath the façade of respectability, however, the family is completely fractured. Batista is a secretive alcoholic, Maria feels trapped in her stagnant marriage, and the children harbor their own toxic habits and motives. When hidden infidelities, desperate lies, and sexual liaisons among family members and their partners boil over, the household spirals into betrayal, destruction, and a shocking crime.
