Set on the fringes of a industrial town in Northeast England, Brilliantlove follows Noon (Nancy Trotter Landry), a shy and eccentric taxidermist, and her partner Manchester (Liam Browne), an aspiring free-spirit photographer. Living together in a secluded lock-up garage, the young lovers enjoy a passionate, bohemian existence detached from society, indulging their artistic and erotic desires while documenting their intimate moments on cheap instant cameras. Their private Eden is disrupted when Manchester accidentally leaves a packet of his intimate photographs at a local pub. The photos are discovered by a wealthy local art dealer and erotologist (Michael Hodgson), who offers Manchester money and a platform in the commercial art world. As Manchester's raw bedroom photography gains overnight fame and gallery exhibitions, the intrusion of public fame, money, and commercialization threatens to erode the delicate, uninhibited bond he shares with Noon.
