Directed and written by Sergio Vega Borrego, this psychological Spanish short film tracks the intense emotional isolation and inner world of a young boy named Pablo. Plagued by a severe lack of communication within his home, Pablo becomes completely detached from his immediate family and surroundings. To cope with his suffocating environment, he retreats deeply into a private, dark fantasy world inspired by a medieval bestiary, projecting animalistic traits onto the adults in his life to process the emotional coldness and underlying hostility of his domestic reality.
