Aviva (Zina Zinchenko / Or Schraiber), a Parisienne, develops an intense online romance with Eden (Tyler Phillips / Bobbi Jene Smith), a New Yorker. Both characters are physically embodied simultaneously by male and female dancers who represent their internal masculine and feminine energies. When Aviva moves to New York, the couple navigates an intensely sexual and emotional courtship that eventually leads to a green-card marriage. However, their relationship deteriorates due to Eden's emotional distance and fear of commitment. During a trip to Los Angeles, Eden strays and engages in an extramarital sexual encounter with another woman, causing a deep fracture in their marriage that leads to separation and their ultimate emotional dissolution.
