After the sudden death of his young daughter ten years prior, Julián (Raúl Méndez) abandoned his home and wife to wander without direction. A decade later, he returns to the rural Michoacán hacienda seeking closure and his past. Upon arrival, he finds his former wife, María (Daniela Zavala), living with Santiago (Andrés Montiel), a struggling writer who gave her refuge and stability. Julián's reemergence disrupts their delicate routine; despite initial resentment, María allows him to stay, leading the trio into a complex, co-dependent dynamic where past feelings resurface.
