Pyotr Reshetnikov (Yevgeny Stychkin) leads a double life: publicly, he is a successful screenwriter, but secretly, he is the mastermind behind "Alibi"—a high-end agency that creates elaborate fabrications, fake scenarios, and cover stories for clients hiding infidelities, financial crimes, or personal scandals. Pyotr's world implodes when his own wife, Olga (Olga Sutulova), unknowingly walks into the agency to hire them. She wants an alibi to cover up an ongoing extramarital affair. Forced to manage her cover story without revealing his identity as the agency's director, Pyotr becomes trapped in his own web of lies, trying to uncover who his wife's lover is while resolving his clients' messy personal secrets.
