Daniel (Jamie Sives), a Scottish press contractor living in Bucharest, is in a stable, committed relationship with his Romanian girlfriend, Irina (Diana Cavallioti). His life turns chaotic when his former lover, Maria (Ana Ularu), re-enters his life and entangles him in a manipulative psychological game of desire and fiction. Re-entering a passionate affair with Maria while hiding his parallel life from Irina, Daniel's boundaries blur as Alex (Kim Bodnia), an older boss/friend figure, enters the narrative space, forcing Daniel to confront the instability of his romantic and personal choices.
