Maïté (Valérie Donzelli) has been faithful to her husband Vincent (Cyril Troley) for seven long years while he serves a prison sentence. During her routine weekly visits, she meets Jean (Bruno Todeschini), a quiet prison guard. An intense physical connection forms between Maïté and Jean, escalating into a secret affair.
